Vietnam’s Mekong Delta city growing 46,000 flowering plants in run-up to Tet

A myriad of flowering plants are being grown on a 40,000-square-meter plot of land in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province, southern Vietnam to serve tourists during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet. This Tet-themed flower garden will feature 5,000 lantanas, 5,000 sunflower plants, and roughly 36,000 other flowering plants. The Cao Lanh administration plans to organize a flower street and host a fireworks display to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon.
