Vietnam’s Bac Giang aims to ship 1,500 tonnes of lychees to US

This year, Bac Giang is growing lychees on 29,700 hectares of land with an estimated output of over 180,000 metric tons. Of the total lychee cultivation, 205 hectares which will yield 1,500 tonnes meets all requirements for export to the United States. At the event, the leader of the European – American Market Department said that the agency would accompany Bac Giang to popularize lychees and beef up consumption of the fruit.
