Vietnamese man gets 5-year sentence for running celebrity prostitution ring

The municipal People’s Court imposed the sentence on Le Hoang Long, a native of the northern port city of Hai Phong, on Wednesday. Last year, police officers raided a hotel on Nguyen Hue Street in District 1 at around 1:30 am on August 25. On August 21, the two clients asked Long to supply them with two prostitutes who were either models or actresses. Each of the two clients agreed to pay Long VND100 million ($4,174) as a deposit for the deal. On August 24, Long visited the above-mentioned hotel to book two rooms for VND15 million ($626).
