2 major Chinese firms eye infrastructure projects in Vietnam

Two major Chinese groups, including China Railway Group Limited (CREC) and Power China, expressed their interest in getting involved in infrastructure projects in Vietnam during their meetings with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in China on Saturday. He expressed his interest in engaging in the construction of approved railway projects in Vietnam. Vietnam considers the development of infrastructure, including traffic facilities, as one of its strategic breakthroughs. Photo: Duy Linh / Tuoi TreWang Xiaojun, deputy general manager of Power China, also revealed the firm’s plans to invest in power and infrastructure projects in Vietnam. The Vietnamese official also welcomed Power China to join express railway projects in Vietnam in a feasible and effective manner.
