Vietnam PM meets Ukraine President Zelensky on G7 summit sidelines

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a little while at a session of the Group of Seven (G7) countries summit in Japan’s Hiroshima on Sunday. PM Chinh at the meeting stressed that Vietnam attaches great importance to its traditional friendship with Ukraine. The expanded G7 summit this year is attended by eight guest nations, including Vietnam, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Comoros, the Cook Islands, and Australia.
