Vietnam collaborates with US to arrest murder suspects

The two suspects were Polie Phan and Jaiden Nguyen, detained on June 20 and 22, respectively. Vietnamese police arrested Phan while he was hiding in Ho Chi Minh City and found Nguyen in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak. The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has arrested four extremely dangerous U.S. suspects wanted by Interpol over the past 11 months, the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City said. Marshals Service visited Vietnam for the first time from July 11 to 16 to expand the cooperation in law enforcement. “I hope the transport of these suspects [to the U.S.] will partly console the families of the victims,” Burns said.
