Thousands flood employment center in north-central Vietnam to register for work in South Korea

Thousands of adult residents in Nghe An Province, north-central Vietnam have gathered at a career information center to register to enter the South Korean labor market this year, regardless of the ongoing cold weather. They were registering to take an employment exam before seeking work in South Korea. These laborers who intend to take the Korean language test before seeking work in South Korea are aged from 18 to 39. Over the past few days, thousands of workers in Nghe An Province have crowded the career information center each day to register to take an exam for work in South Korea. A Vietnamese worker can land a good job with a monthly salary of VND40-50 million ($1,640 - $2,045) in South Korea in return.
