Supplier announces weekend water outage in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City’s water supplier Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco) has announced a water outage for this weekend in different districts in the south of the city and a number of wards in Thu Duc City for pipeline connection in District 7. Water supply will be temporarily halted to facilitate the pipeline connections as part of the Nguyen Van Linh-Nguyen Huu Tho Intersection tunnel project in District 7. Areas with weakened water supply include Phong Phu Commune in Binh Chanh District and Ward 7 of District 8. Following the six-hour disruption, hydraulic disturbances may occur, resulting in cloudy and weakened water.
