2 women give birth to triplets in north-central Vietnam

A woman in Nghe An Province and another in neighboring Ha Tinh Province, both in north-central Vietnam, recently gave birth to triplets. Doctors at the Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital on Thursday allowed the two women to be discharged from the hospital a week after their caesarean sections. When both of them were some 32 weeks pregnant, they visited the Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital for medical check-ups. Yen’s triplets, born in the morning, weighed 2.1 kilograms, 2.2 kilograms, and 2.2 kilograms. The odds of naturally conceiving triplets are around 1 in 8,000 cases, according to doctors at the Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
