Vietnam’s Thai Binh, Long An to develop 4 mammoth urban projects

Authorities in Thai Binh Province in northern Vietnam and the People’s Committee of Long An Province in the southern region have issued investment registration certificates for four big-ticket urban area projects. Three urban area projects in Thai Binh Province will be located in Thai Binh City and Vu Thu District. Among them, one will span some 133 hectares in Tan Binh Commune and Tien Phong Ward in Thai Binh City, and cost nearly VND8 trillion (US$333 million). The urban project will comprise low-rise and high-rise apartment buildings, social houses, and commercial and service facilities. When in place, these projects will contribute to shaping the cityscape of Thai Binh City and its neighboring areas, and advancing the socioeconomic growth in the province, he underlined.
