HCMC – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has reiterated Vietnam’s commitment to facilitating Hungarian goods’ access to the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets. PM Chinh held talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and met Hungarian President Katalin Novak during his visit to Hungary from January 18 to 20. He urged Hungary to simplify the entry of Vietnamese goods into the Hungarian market, particularly agricultural, forestry, and fishery products. The Vietnamese PM said Vietnam needed investment in sectors such as exports, consumption, digital economy, green economy, climate change, and circular economy. His visit to Hungary is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relationship and enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
