Vietnam maritime industry to attend int’l expo in Singapore

HCMC – Vietnam’s maritime sector will join the Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2024 exhibition and conference, slated for March 13-15, 2024 in Singapore. APM 2024 will delve into critical topics like innovation, sustainability and workforce development, offering insights from over 80 global industry leaders. Vietnam has a resilient maritime sector that contributes significantly to its export-oriented development, according to RX, the event’s organizer. Container cargo through Vietnamese seaports surged 5% year-on-year in 2022, with the shipping fleet expanding its international transport routes. The event is expected to provide a platform for Vietnamese maritime businesses to connect with international stakeholders, including renowned companies like Alphatron, Damen, Wartsila, and forge valuable partnerships.
