US attaches great importance to role of Vietnam’s Communist Party and its leader: Vietnamese Deputy FM

President Biden will pay a state visit to Vietnam from this Sunday to next Monday. The visit takes place at the time when the two countries celebrate the 10th anniversary of their bilateral comprehensive partnership. Vietnam has become the seventh-largest trade partner of the U.S. globally and the latter’s biggest trade partner in ASEAN. Since last year, the U.S. has become the largest buyer of Vietnamese products, with a total value of $100 billion. He added that Vietnamese businesses have invested billions of U.S. dollars in the U.S., helping provide employment to thousands of American people.
