PYN Elite Fund becomes major shareholder of Sao Mai Group

HCMC – The PYN Elite Fund has increased its stake in the Sao Mai Group Corporation, which is listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) under stock code ASM, from 3.9% to 5.02%. The Finnish equity fund purchased an additional 3.75 million ASM shares on January 15. This transaction made PYN Elite Fund a major shareholder of Sao Mai Group, holding nearly 16.9 million ASM shares. Closing the trading session today, January 19, ASM shares inched down 0.47% to VND10,550 each, with more than 1.6 million shares changing hands. VCB increased by 1.6% to VND92,600, with a trading volume of more than 1.47 million shares.
