NA to pass two key laws in extraordinary session

HCMC – The 15th National Assembly (NA) opened its fifth extraordinary session today morning, with the consideration and approval of four critical items, including the revised drafts of the Land Law and the Law on Credit Institutions. The opening of the fifth extraordinary session features the participation of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other current and former Party and State leaders. During the session, which runs from January 15 to 18, the NA will deliberate and approve four key items. According to NA General Secretary Bui Van Cuong, the revised Land Law draft, which comprises 16 chapters and 260 articles, has undergone multiple revisions. Meanwhile, the amended Law on Credit Institutions draft presented during this extraordinary session consists of 15 chapters and 210 articles, incorporating all feedback.
