Multiple Ministry of Industry and Trade officials disciplined

HCMC – The Inspection Commission of the Party Central Committee has taken disciplinary measures against multiple officials at the Ministry of Industry and Trade while requesting the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat to disciplining many other officials. The Central Inspection Commission held its 35th session in Hanoi on January 10, 11 and 19, presided over by Tran Cam Tu, head of the commission. Do Duc Quan, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and former deputy head of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, lost all his Party positions. The Inspection Commission also recommended the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat take disciplinary actions against the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2016-2021, and 2021-2026 terms, and individuals involved. At its 34th session held from December 18 to 20, 2023, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed the results of an inspection into signs of violations by the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
