HCMC – The HCMC Department of Construction has put forth a proposal to include an additional 26 land plots within the city for the development of social housing for low-income individuals and industrial workers. These developments are part of the HCMC Housing Development Plan for 2021 to 2025. Under this proposal, 26 land plots, totaling nearly 550 hectares, have been integrated into the city’s housing development plan. The department has also assessed and recommended 21 additional locations suitable for constructing social housing projects and worker accommodations. Furthermore, districts such as Binh Chanh, Nha Be and Cu Chi will allocate 10 land plots totaling 188 hectares for social housing development.
