A driver of a long-haul bus heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Thuan Province, south-central Vietnam died of a stroke after he stopped the vehicle safely to protect his passengers in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday morning. The incident occurred at 8:00 am after the long-haul bus with six or seven passengers on board left a coach station in the district for La Gi Town in Binh Thuan. A dashcam video showed that the driver, identified as N.T.B., an employee of Vinh Hoa Travel Company, was driving a long-haul bus to transport passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to La Gi when he suffered a stroke. On August 7, a driver of a long-haul bus owned by Phuong Trang FuTaBuslines Passenger Car Corporation, was transporting passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to Soc Trang Province in the Mekong Delta region when he suffered a stroke. The driver, identified as S.T., tried to stop the long-haul bus, and pulled in to the side of the road to ensure the safety of his passengers.
