HCMC – Between December 30 and January 1, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong lured over 160,000 tourists, up by 33% over the same period last year. During the three-day weekend New Year holiday, around 140,000 travelers, including 5,000 foreigners, made reservations to stay in Lam Dong. In the province’s capital of Dalat, local accommodation providers hosted 120,000 guests, with 4,900 of them coming from abroad. The Lam Dong government has actively worked to promote tourism and meet the growing demand of tourists at the beginning of the year, particularly in popular destinations like Dalat and Bao Loc cities. Local tourist businesses have also invested in their facilities, improved service quality, and implemented safety measures for tourists.
