IC ISTAS-led consortium wins bidding for Long Thanh airport terminal

HCMC – The Airport Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the investor of the Long Thanh International Airport project, has announced that a consortium led by Turkey’s IC ISTAS won the bid for the construction of the airport’s passenger terminal. The construction of Long Thanh International Airport’s terminal is scheduled to be completed in 1,170 days, equivalent to 39 months. IC ISTAS is one of the three largest Turkish contractors with experience in building international airports, according to ACV. Long Thanh International Airport is a national key project that consists of multiple components. Recently, ACV sought approval from the authorities to commence work on the package 5.10 of the Long Thanh International Airport’s terminal and the Terminal T3 at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
