Hoc Mon wholesale market ensures price stability, ample supply for Tet

HCMC – Hoc Mon wholesale market in HCMC’s outlying district of Hoc Mon is making efforts to maintain stable prices and ample supply to meet the high demand during the upcoming Lunar New Year, or Tet. One month before Tet, the market aims to boost its daily product volume to 2,500 tons, an 8% increase compared to the same period in 2023. On February 8, the market anticipates an increase in the supply of pork items, with a daily quantity doubling to 780 tons. Last year, the market collaborated with relevant authorities to conduct tests on 489 samples of pork, vegetables, and fruits. There have been no reported cases of food poisoning linked to Hoc Mon wholesale market.
