Heineken partners with Siemens in decarbonization program

HCMC – Heineken has chosen Siemens as its strategic partner for a multi-phase decarbonization program spanning over 15 of its breweries and malt houses worldwide. The effort’s primary objective is to significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. Heineken aims to achieve a 50% reduction in carbon emissions and a substantial decrease in energy consumption at more than 15 of its facilities worldwide by 2025. The collaboration between the two companies will focus on optimizing heating and cooling processes while transitioning to renewable energy sources to achieve substantial reductions in emissions. With a five-year partnership agreement with Siemens, Heineken aims to continuously monitor and fine-tune its operations for maximum impact.
