HCMC to recognize and award green businesses

HCMC – Businesses in HCMC are set to receive recognition and the title of “HCMC Green Businesses 2023” for their commitment to sustainable development as part of the 4th HCMC Economic Forum 2023 (HEF 2023). According to Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA), in collaboration with Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper and relevant units, HUBA will select and award businesses the title of “HCMC Green Businesses 2023” based on evaluation criteria for two groups of enterprises: manufacturing and trading-service-real estate. Its purpose is to honor and acknowledge businesses within the city that have embraced green growth and sustainable development models in their operations, products, and services. The event will feature seminars on trends in developing green growth and circular economies in megacities, including HCMC, building a circular ecosystem toward Net Zero emissions, businesses’ roles, international resources, and lessons in promoting green growth and circular economies. Discussions will also focus on HCMC’s current situation and solutions for implementing green growth models.
