Finance ministry releases registration fee list for new cars entering Vietnamese market

The prices for registration fee determination took effect from November 6, 2023. A completely-built-up Kia Telluride car, a mid-size crossover SUV hailing from South Korea, carries a registration fee determination price of nearly VND2.7 billion (US$109,290). Its registration fee determination price is VND2.33 billion ($94,300). The Volvo C40 Recharge boasts a lithium-ion battery with a range of some 420 kilometers. The desirable Suzuki Jimny, a four-wheel drive off-road mini SUV, manufactured by Japanese automaker Suzuki, had its registration fee determination price set at VND789 million ($31,960).
