Driver penalized for wrong-way driving on north-central Vietnam expy

A driver is facing penalties including a VND16-18 million (US$650-730) fine, five-to-seven months’ driver’s license suspension, and a seven-day vehicle seizure after driving in the wrong direction on a freeway in north-central Vietnam. The traffic police department under the Ministry of Public Security on Friday announced details regarding the incident on the Nghi Son-Dien Chau Expressway involving driver P.V.S., 49, from north-central Nghe An Province’s Do Luong District.
