Authorities in central Vietnam’s Da Nang City on Friday broke ground on a VND1.2-trillion (nearly US$50 million) seaside road linking Lien Chieu Port and Hai Van Tunnel. It will also include constructing a bridge over a canal and two tunnels, and rebuilding the Lien Chieu Bridge. The road will shorten the transport time between the seaport and the road network, as well as boost connections between industrial parks in Da Nang and others areas in the central and Central Highlands regions.
