Da Nang district installs convex mirrors in alleys

Hai Chau District in Da Nang City, central Vietnam has installed convex mirrors in alleyways in a bid to minimize traffic accidents and ensure safety for local residents, district chairman Le Tu Gia Thanh said on Tuesday. This is the first time convex mirrors have been installed in the inner-city area. Therefore, the district has come up with many solutions to reduce such crashes, including the installation of convex mirrors. A convex mirror is erected in a narrow alley near Da Nang International Airport in the namesake city. “We strongly support the [authorities’] decision to install convex mirrors to ensure safety for road users."
