City Hall attracts huge number of visitors

HCMC – The City Hall, home to the People’s Committee and People’s Council of HCMC, welcomed 2,500 visitors during the final two days of 2023, reported the local media. The city’s Department of Tourism reported the surge in visitors, attributing it to extended opening hours that included lunchtime access and 60-minute afternoon tours. Visitors had the opportunity to explore different parts of the French-built City Hall building, such as the main hall, the ground-floor international reception room, the second floor, meeting room No. This City Hall tour program, which began on April 30 the previous year, is part of the city’s efforts to showcase its national heritage sites to both local and international guests while promoting HCMC as a welcoming and open metropolis.
