Can Tho racers sweep national composite boat racing championship in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta

Racers from Can Tho City bagged all awards at the 2023 National Composite Boat Racing Championship held in the Mekong Delta city on Monday. The 2023 National Composite Boat Racing Championship, the third edition of the race, was organized on Cai Khe Canal in Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City through a collaborative effort between the municipal Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Sports Authority of Vietnam. The athletes competed over a 600-meter course, utilizing a 5.9-meter long composite hull powered by a 7HP gasoline engine and an AB propeller. Each prize package also included a 7HP Genesis-GS210 gasoline engine, a composite hull, and an AB stainless steel propeller. Can Tho’s first and second composite boat championships were held in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
