Bắc Giang ensures supply of key agricultural products

According to Deputy Director of Bắc Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Lê Bá Thành, the total consumption of lychee in Bắc Giang province in 2023 surpassed 201,600 tonnes. Bắc Giang lychee is consumed favourably in the domestic market and mainly exported as fresh fruit. The area under vegetables in Bắc Giang province in 2023 is approximately 26,204 hectares, producing an output of 469,098 tonnes. To date, the amount of all types of meat produced in Bắc Giang is estimated at 211,635 tonnes. In the last months of 2023, Bắc Giang province is able to produce for the market a total of about 47,565 tonnes of meat of all types.
