Additional funding allocated for land compensation in Long Thanh airport

HCMC – The Government has decided to allocate an additional VND966 billion for land clearance, compensation, and resettlement for the Long Thanh International Airport project in Dong Nai Province. Accordingly, the Government has allocated an additional VND966.7 trillion from the budget in the 2021-2025 public investment plan to Dong Nai. This funding is designated for land clearance, compensation, and resettlement for the Long Thanh International Airport. The Government will allocate a budget of VND3.3 trillion to various ministries, central agencies, and localities for the implementation of projects under the economic and social recovery and development program. An additional VND1.2 trillion from the mid-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period will go to the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Transport.
