Police in Tay Ho District, Hanoi have impounded five boats and taken three individuals into custody for allegedly fishing in the Vietnamese capital city’s iconic West Lake, according to the People’s Committee of the district. These suspects were believed to have repeatedly gone fishing in the lake at night. Many residents had earlier reported that illegal fishing was being carried out by a group of people in the lake.
