200 electric sightseeing cars set to launch in Ho Chi Minh City this quarter

Ho Chi Minh City plans to pilot a city tour service using 200 electric sightseeing cars starting this quarter and lasting until the end of next year, according to the city’s transport authority. The city’s Department of Transport has reported feedback to the municipal administration regarding the department’s pilot plan to organize city tours, using the electric sightseeing cars so that tourists can visit popular destinations in the city in a more convenient way. Under the pilot program, Saigon Public Transport Company will be responsible for operating the five- to 14-seat electric tourist cars in designated locations throughout District 1, District 4, District 5, and District 6.
