Role Purpose:

To provide key coordination and logistical support to ensure the smooth running of the teaching operation.

Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:

Administrative services and teaching operations support

  • Performs the delivery of a range of administrative and teaching operational tasks within agreed corporate procedures, to maximise quality, continuity and efficiency.
  • Supports daily teaching operations by arranging covers and related tasks.
  • Prepares schedule for teachers
  • Maintains accurate records (for example, financial data, teachers' absences, leave, teachers' data and records) that are compliant with corporate requirements
  • Provides logistical support within the Teaching centre and delivery of internal and external activities, to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently
  • Supports the implementation of Safeguarding / Child Protection and other relevant policies
  • Teaching resource support

  • Delivers full scope of teaching resources planning (books, magazines, stationery, teaching aids) accordingly to corporate procedures and standards, including purchase order, purchase payment, stock delivery and management
  • Monitors stock and follows established procedures to ensure that materials are available and ready to use when needed
  • Class and student system support

  • Creates classes and modifies relevant information (class, materials, teachers) as needed on student management system
  • Creates and supports with overseeing teachers and students' accounts on learning system
  • Supports in managing all the learning systems
  • Compliance and Risk Management

  • Supports teaching operations team in administrative work for compliance procedures and processes
  • Supports with teachers' onboarding and leaving processes
  • Finance support

  • Processes payments for teaching centres in accordance with the British Council's procedures and standards and local Tax law
  • In charge of processing financial phases of Teaching Centre tuition fee refund/ defer/ transferring requests from customers in terms of financial supporting documents
  • Managing self and others

  • Plans and prioritises own work activities, responding to changing requirements to ensure effective delivery of responsibilities over a daily/weekly time horizon.
  • Coordinates others (e.g. internal colleagues or external suppliers) to complete tasks within established procedures, to ensure efficient delivery of services. Monitors task completion to agreed quality and time standards

  • Experience in providing support to operations.
  • English C1 level proficiency
